A Brief gives your agent the brand context it needs for the task at hand.
This feature is in beta. During beta, endpoint schemas and behavior may change or be removed.

What the Brief contains

Rainbrand returns written guidance and selected assets relevant to your task, such as logos, images, and fonts. Give these to the agent or application making the output, along with your original task. Your tools handle layout and production. Anyone with a Brief’s asset URL can open it without signing in. Share these links only with people and tools you trust. Rainbrand selects brand context without inventing unstated project details. For a general overview, read the Brand Skill.

Request and retrieve a Brief

You’ll need a ready brand with an active Brand Skill. Describe your task, including any audience or constraints that matter.
With your API key, submit the brand and task:
Replace the Brand ID. The 202 response contains data.id and data.status. Set BRIEF_ID to that ID:
Repeat this read while pending or processing. Once completed, read data.guidance and data.assets. See Request a Brief and Get a Brief for the full contract.

If the Brief is not ready

Keep reading the same Brief while it is pending or processing, including after a wait times out. If a create response is lost, retry with the same input and idempotency key to avoid creating another Brief. If the Brief fails, read its error message before retrying. A task that brand context cannot help with needs a revised request. See the Brief reference for error and access rules.
