Compatibility and migration
Breaking changes are handled per endpoint. Follow its migration guidance for replacements, compatibility behavior, and any announced retirement date. Migration guidance describes compatibility for existing managed image requests.Deprecation headers
Deprecation gives the deprecation
date as @ followed by Unix time in seconds. It does not change endpoint behavior
or set a removal deadline. Follow the Link with rel="deprecation" for migration
instructions.
Sunset gives a retirement date as
an HTTP date. Rainbrand uses it only after a retirement date is announced.
