This guide applies to managed image requests sent to POST /api/v1/images/generations with a top-level prompt. Move these requests to POST /api/v1/generations with brandSessionId, an exact model ID, and input matching that model’s schema. When migrating an existing integration:
  • For brand-specific images, request and inspect a completed Brief, then pass its ID as briefId with your prompt and controls to a supported image model. The Brief must belong to you and the same brand as brandSessionId.
  • Replace model tiers with an exact model ID. Read its schema before mapping prompts, sizes, aspect ratios, or references.
  • Read the returned generation ID with GET /generations/{id}. A completed generation returns files in outputs; it can contain more than one.

Existing integrations

Old managed image requests retain their previous behavior and return Deprecation and Link headers pointing to this guide. No retirement date has been announced.
